    Hi Ryan question about Paxton door entry

    i have a couple of installs using paxton net2 with a ICR link to the till the cards are proximity on door and swipe on till, with a cheap usb swipe off amazon, the question is im doing a new install and would prefer using proximity on both door and till,do you know what cards and prox reader will work on the till

    i have read loads of posts on chat but dont seem like anyone has a solution

      Hi Gary, 

       

      Yes we have a few working now. We are quite strict on what we use as we have had big issues with a few different readers and card. We use Mifare cards from The Plastic Card Company and we use pc prox plus readers from ICRTouch with my configuration file loaded onto them and we do then have the Official Paxton readers on site too in case they are ever needed for any reason. This seems to be the most stable setup we have come to use. If you have any other questions feel free to ask away as its not the easiest and most straight forward setup process!

      For this TP to Paxton interface, what are the difficulties with the setup process. ?

      What should i look out for, pitfalls.

      Does the Official Paxton readers work well? I am based in South-Africa and dont have access to all the hw as you guy's.
